This model of the Garden of Allah hotel was commissioned by the manager of the bank that was built on the lot where the hotel once stood at the corner of Sunset and Crescent Heights Boulevards in West Hollywood. This photograph was also used on the cover of The Garden of Allah, an account of the hotel’s history written by Hollywood gossip columnist, Sheilah Graham, who spent some time there while dating Garden of Allah resident F. Scott Fitzgerald in the mid-to-late 1930s.
