1918: Alla Nazimova in “The Wild Duck.” Portrait by photographer Maurice Goldberg, circa April 1918
The text here reads:
MADAME ALLA NAZIMOVA
We have already seen what the Russian actress can do with Ibsen and it has given us an appetite for more. Arthur Hopkins is now presenting her, to the delight of her many admirers, in “The Wild Duck” at the Plymouth Theater. Later we are to see her in “Hedda Gabler” and as Nora in “A Doll’s House.”
