Errol Flynn always seemed to be staying at the Garden of Allah while in between marriages. In 1935 he married Lili Damita who had a villa at Garden. He also shared a villa with actor David Niven and writer Bill Lipscomb in mid-30s. He was there when Warners offered him “Captain Blood” (1935) which made him a star.
