This movie was directed by Alla Nazimova’s husband, Charles Bryant. Hale later found fame as a character actor, esp in Errol Flynn’s Warner Bros pictures like Robin Hood and Sea Hawk. His son, Alan Hale Jr, found everlasting fame on television as the Skipper in Gilligan’s Island.
