The photograph is attributed to Amie Dupont — a Belgian-born American sculptor and photographer who was best known for his pictures of opera singers when he was the official photographer for the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. However according to his Wikipedia page, Dupont died in 1900, so it would appear the above photo was taken at his studio, but not by Dupont himself.
